Great site! Everything i wanted to know
about Hawkwind! And then some!!

submitted by Joe Loehr on Sat, 11 Sep 99

Hi, excellent site. My first concert ever
was 1975 glasgow appollo Hawkwind, still
with Lemmy and all. It was the greatest
night. Been a fan since 1973 but lost the
plot after PXR5.
Those early albums are in my blood.
See ya

Andy,

Great site for any Hawkfan !!

It would be useful if there was some
indication of sound quality on some of
the bootleg CD's.

Cheers

i am a greek fan(atic)of hawkwind,i like
the space rock music. And my dream
is to see one day a space rock festival
in grecce with: nik turner,pressurehed
farflung,tribe of cro,melting euphoria,
krel,soma,darxtar,darksun,pseudo sun,
...(space is deep) and (the masters of
the universe)HAWKWIND.

Very impressive & informative. I am an
older HAWKFAN, and these entries could
proove to be invaluable, if I could find
samples or distributors. Thank you for
being here. I've never contacted anyone
before on the internet, in regard to
HAWKWIND...and would love to see a live
concert, but I always seem to hear about
venues too late. Any recommendations?

i want to buy the latest 2 hawk releases
"hawkwind 1997" and "in your area" but i

netherlands.

What a great site,- I don,t envy you
trying to make a list like this.
The great thing about hawkwind is their
are many different versions of the same
song,- even studio versions.
Someone said they are underrated,- too
right they are,- they wipe the floor with
Pink Floyd,- many people's idea of an
original band.

What a splendid site! I was pleased to
see that I haven't missed much of the
"official" pressings, but man o man
there's a lotta bootlegs I ain't got!
(pardon me while I wipe up the drool)

Hawkwind
Who are they?
Answer: The most under rated rock band
going.
In the late seventies i was heaverly
into ska, then i met dave a biker (r.i.p}
he told me to listen to some
real music "get yer self Space Ritual"
was his advice, "and get a life".
Now nearly two decades later i`m still
listening to Hawkwind. I`ve now got
almost all of their albums.they are the
Masters of the Universe,The Warriors
on the Edge of Time.
This is Earth Calling.....

business and still grappling with
technofear and other assorted gremlins.
once i am sorted outi will be glad to
supply the pictures you are still
missing. i am sure i have at least 70per
cent of what you need. if you can get
back to me send a list. mike in texas, if
you are reading this c,mon man get well,
get moving. love and peace from the land

This is Brazil speaking. The counter now
marks a few over two thousand space
cadets but, if there was justice in the
universe, there should be two BILLION
entries. This work makes me stay
listenin' to the Hawks on and on. May
they live forever. May this site live
forever too !!!!!!! :-)

Wow! You have compiled the most detailed
information regarding albums, band
members, and events of Hawkind than
anyone else. Even with more popular bands
like Pink Floyd and Jefferson Airplane
(though Hawkwind's talent goes
unparalleled!!) it is hard to find
discographies with so much stuff. I had a
great time learning more about Hawkwind
and searching through all the categories
you offer. Your site only proves that
Hawkwind is the greatest band and that
space really is deep!

i have been a fan of hawkwind since 1970

has been deleted?

I'm after obtaining the CD, any thoughts

This site is a tremendous help. I am just
starting to explore it. I've been
listening to the hawks for over 20 years
now.... Just wondering if you have a way
to view the releases in any kind of
chronological order. But the list is
amazing. Thanks.
