much appreciated, thanks...

write this-music for the 23rd century!
See you all soon...

Hey all !!! Where are you hawkfellas
?!?!?!?!
It's 2000 already and the last post was
mine, in 1999!!! Long ago, isn't it?
Anyway, happy 2000 to all of you.
Hello, space cadets, this is Brazil
speaking. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you,
and good luck for all in 2000. Hawkwind
and their bastards Motorhead are the two
great bands in the world. Yours, truly,
Ricardo.
My two all time favorite Hawkwind albums
are Masters of the Universe and Live
Chronicales. I had the original albums,
but they got destroyed. I've spent many
years searching for them again on vinly,
but have not had any luck. I do now own
the cd version of Live Chronicals. I'm
still searching for Masters of the
Universe (1).

This is my first visit to any Hawkwind
site. I am very pleased that I have found
information on Hawkwind at all. Thank
you.
I first discovered Hawkwind in a record
store noticing 'In Search of Space' when
purchasing 'Blows Against the Empire' by
Jefferson Starship I think. It is
difficult to remember the exact details
so many years later. I subsquently
purchased any of their albums that I was
able to locate; this was not easy in
those years. It has been even more
difficult to purchase CD's in recent
years, though I do have about 10 I think.
I would be interested in any mailing list
relating to Hawkwind, as well as sources
for acquiring their CD's.
thank you

WELL DONE FOR SUCH A GOOD WEB-SITE.
JUST SEEN HAWKWIND AT CROYDON LAST SUNDAY
ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT I'VE SEEN HAWKWIND 16
TIMES NOW, ONE OF THE BEST GIGS YET.. NIK

TOOLS(VIOLIN, FLUTE etc)...........
Fantastic Site, just what I have been
looking for!
I have been a fan since the mid-70s but
did not realise just how many releases we
miss out on down here.
Oh well, more stuff to buy.
Have to catch up on the officals first.
Maybe one day I'll see them live as well!
Obviously a lot of hard work gone into
making this site. Thanks.
Best of luck and more power to your
elbow! I especially like the fact that
you're trying to include all the weird
and wonderful variations of some albums.
The cover images and release info will
make it a lot easier for people to know
what they're actually getting.
WOW! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD FIND SUCH A
SITE... THAT'S TOO MUCH INFO COS NOW I
KNOW MY COLLECTION IS FAR FROM
COMPLETE... HAWKWIND IS ONE OF THE BEST
BAND EVER AND TO SEE SUCH A CATALOG OF
MATERIAL ONLY COMFIRMS IT... GREAT SITE
AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FOR US
HAWKFAN... BY THE WAY I'M LOOKING FOR THE
SONG "ASTROPOP" AND FROM WHICH ALBUM IT
ORIGINATES... IT'S FROM A RELATION TO
HAWKWIND OR A FORMER MUSICIAN !!! ALSO
CAN'T FIND "25 YEARS ON" FROM
HAWKLORDS... CAN YOU HELP ??? THANK YOU
FOR A VERY GOOD SITES , BELIEVE ME I'LL
BE BACK !!!
Your site was of considerable assistance
in deciding which Hawkwind box set to
get. I finally decided on the new
Epoch-Eclipse set since it has so many
cuts I don't have. Over the years I lost
track of Hawkwind, having all albums up
thru Levitation & Live '79. Could you
recommend some of the better releases
that have come out since then? Thanks for
all your effort. You've done a truly
magnificent job. Wish all my favorite
bands had sites like yours.
AS A HAWKWIND FAN SINCE THE 70,S I FOUND
YOUR SITE MOST EXCELLENT
SEEN THEM AROUND 40 TIMES NOW
INCLUDING THE LEGENDARY LIVERPOOL GIG
WITH LEMMY SOMETHING ELSE WOW
The first thing worth visiting on the
internet. Glad to see not everyone has
grown old, fat and boring (like me)

(PSI Sentinel 1979 - 1990)
hawkwind fans check out the september
mojo magazine! a awesome 6 page story
with great pictures of the band, even a
rumor of a 30th anniversary show and a
great picture of stacia on page 47!
Stunning research!Never realised there
were THAT many bootlegs floating
around...still it is a compliment in a
way to one of the great bands of our
time.Keep up the fine work.
If you should be in touch with Dave ,
give him my best.We were set to play on
the same disastrous French Festival a
couple of years ago, and I was way to shy
to say hallo (old heroes..what can you
say?)Even so, loved his music way back,
and I love it now..that says a lot.all
the best edward
Thanks for your very useful site - I've
been a great fan of Hawkwind for many
years, but completely lost track of their
releases after the mid eighties explosion
of live and compilation albums - Your
site gives me the chance to catch up a
bit!!
It's great to have the artwork and track
listings, but it would also be useful
(especially for the beginner)to have a
brief review of each release and an
indication as to the sound quailty of the
live albums.
