Alas, the nearest I got to seeing
Hawkwind live was watching Nik Turner's
Sphynx, at Glastonbury '79, and the Lloyd
Langton Band (at Stevenage College,
1983?)

Still, your website has brought me closer
- and for that, I. . .

Thank you Dr Strangelove for going
doolally. . .

Yours, in search of space.

Great site, just what I needed to confirm
whereabouts of tracks on 70's albums. Saw
them only once, Reading Festival - Friday
August 22nd, 1975, but it was a
brainstormer! - now to search for the
bootleg..........

Nice one,
Motorhead Martin De Sey.

I LOVE live, early HAWKWIND music! It's
amazing. Best to All members of Hawkwind.
There are about a billion of you over the

Hawkwind have been part of my life since
1975 when I went to see them at Fairfield
Halls in Croydon as a 16 year old long
haired school kid. My bird hated em so
she was dumped and I have been a fan ever
since and I thought I had most of their
stuff - but looking at your website I can
see I am only halfway there...
thanks alot Paul, the nearly wizard.

truly an excellent site for my favourite
band, a great mine of information,
thanks.

Iam constantly amazed at the quality of
the Hawkwind websites and the amount of
effort put into them. Iam 44 years old
and have been deeply into the band since
1971 and can still remember the space
ritual tour as if it was yesterday. I
will keep returning to your site, thank
you.

Keep Flying.

This is better than the official Hawk
site, amazing!
I'm a Musicnaut myself, and have been
creating space rock in a Hawk/VDGG/Floyd
style for over ten years. I recently put
up four free songs on my site at
http://www.geocities.com/forimul/index.html.
Space cadets check em out!

cheers for a nice site...very happy with
the covers as i sold all my vinyl some
years ago and have just started
downloading all the cd's from napster!
i would buy the whole back catlogue
accept they seem to have messed with the
playlist on some..taken tracks of agents
of chaos!!!and i simply can't afford
it...free internet connection after 6.00
and 50p a blank cd....or 12.00 a cd in
the uk.....

last saw hawkwind at a free festy in 1985
somewhere along the south coast..
they remain up there on my list of
essential listening despite being into
alot of more contempory electronic stuff
these days.....

thanks again.....ishq

Fantastic website, well researched and
put together. Have you got Robert Godwins
book? You may find more discography info
in his book.

Great to find your site. The list just
show me how much I have missed over the
last few years.

I used to video the gigs in the UK in the
Eighties, and had a great time.

Got a little out of touch, so just
getting back to my Hawkroots.

Bye for now

Kevin

The web site has nothing under Hawkwind
yet. I intend to put some captured stills
from some of my old videos.

hawkwind at the colston hall bristol in
december 1985. When are they coming to
bristol again? rock on with love and
thanks

Hello, this is a page I really admire.
Great cover reproductions. Only thing to
criticize: nobody gives a f##k about cd
roms with 3 copies made. I have a few of
these at home at well and dont see a
point in including them in a discography.
VINYL still rules (because nobody made it
at home, and everybody had a reasonable
chance to chase them).
